1. Who is responsible

2. Data we collect

None. Aro does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting and no advertising, and it does not send what you log anywhere.

This matters more than usual here. Records about contraception are health data — a special category under the GDPR — so the app is built so that there is nothing to leak: the information is never transmitted, which is a stronger guarantee than promising to protect it in transit.

3. What stays on your device

• Your ring schedule. The dates and times you record for inserting and removing your ring, any temporary removals, and the schedule you chose. Stored locally so the app can count the days.
• Your reminder settings. The time of day, whether you want a reminder the day before or a second one the same day, and whether notifications should be discreet.

Reminders are local notifications: they are scheduled by your phone's own operating system, in advance, and Aro does not need a server or an internet connection to deliver them.

4. When anything leaves your phone

Only if you ask it to. When the app quotes your ring's product information, it shows a link to the official document — published by the Spanish Medicines Agency (AEMPS) or the U.S. FDA. Tapping that link opens your browser and visits their site, and from that point their privacy policies apply, not ours. Aro sends nothing with the request.

5. Purchases

Aro is a paid app: the App Store or Google Play charges for it when you download it. There are no purchases inside the app. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google, and Aro never sees or stores your payment details.

6. Children

Aro is intended for people who use a contraceptive vaginal ring. It shows no ads and collects no data from anyone.

7. Data deletion

Everything Aro stores lives on your device. You can erase it at any time from Settings → Delete all my data inside the app, or by uninstalling it. Nothing is kept anywhere else, so there is nothing further to request: there are no servers and no copies. If you have any question about this, write to the contact address below and we will answer within 30 days.

8. Not medical advice

Aro counts days and reminds you. It is not medical advice and cannot tell you whether you are protected. Where your schedule differs from the standard regimen, the app shows the verbatim text of the authorised product information and links to the source. For anything beyond that, read your ring's leaflet or talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

2. Datos que recogemos

Ninguno. Aro no recoge, transmite ni comparte ningún dato personal. No tiene cuentas, ni SDK de analíticas, ni informes de errores, ni publicidad, y no envía a ninguna parte lo que apuntas.

Aquí esto importa más de lo habitual. Los registros sobre anticoncepción son datos de salud —categoría especial según el RGPD—, así que la app está hecha de forma que no haya nada que filtrar: la información no se transmite nunca, que es una garantía más fuerte que prometer protegerla mientras viaja.

3. Lo que se queda en tu dispositivo

• Tu pauta. Las fechas y horas en que apuntas que pones y quitas el anillo, las salidas temporales y la pauta que elegiste. Se guarda en local para poder contar los días.
• Tus ajustes de aviso. La hora, si quieres aviso la víspera o un segundo el mismo día, y si las notificaciones deben ser discretas.

Los recordatorios son notificaciones locales: los programa por adelantado el sistema operativo de tu propio teléfono, y Aro no necesita servidor ni conexión para que lleguen.

4. Cuándo sale algo de tu teléfono

Solo si tú lo pides. Cuando la app cita la ficha técnica de tu anillo, enseña un enlace al documento oficial —publicado por la AEMPS o por la FDA de Estados Unidos—. Al pulsarlo se abre tu navegador y se visita su web, y a partir de ahí se aplican sus políticas de privacidad, no la nuestra. Aro no envía nada con esa petición.

5. Compras

Aro es una app de pago: el App Store o Google Play la cobran al descargarla. No hay compras dentro de la app. El pago lo gestionan íntegramente Apple o Google, y Aro nunca ve ni guarda tus datos de pago.

6. Menores

Aro está pensada para personas que usan un anillo vaginal anticonceptivo. No enseña anuncios y no recoge datos de nadie.

7. Borrado de datos

Todo lo que Aro guarda vive en tu dispositivo. Puedes borrarlo cuando quieras desde Ajustes → Borrar todos mis datos dentro de la app, o desinstalándola. No se conserva nada en ningún otro sitio, así que no hay nada más que solicitar: no hay servidores ni copias. Si tienes cualquier duda, escribe al contacto de abajo y contestamos en un máximo de 30 días.

8. No es consejo médico

Aro lleva la cuenta de los días y te avisa. No es un consejo médico y no puede decirte si estás protegida. Cuando tu pauta se sale de lo previsto, la app enseña el texto literal de la ficha técnica autorizada y enlaza a la fuente. Para lo demás, consulta el prospecto de tu anillo o habla con tu médico o farmacéutico.
