1. Who is responsible

2. Data we collect

None. Anvil does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no email, no phone number, no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting and no advertising. There is no server of ours to send anything to.

3. What stays on your device

• Your vehicles. What you type about them: name, make, model, year, plate, VIN or frame number, the odometer or hour-meter reading, and any notes. All of it is free text you write yourself — the app has no vehicle database and looks nothing up.
• Your service history. Dates, readings, what was done, the shop, the cost and your notes.
• Photos you attach. Receipts and vehicle photos. You pick them with your system's own photo picker, which does not require the app to have access to your library, and the app copies the ones you choose into its own storage.
• Your reminders and settings. Intervals, units, date format, currency, text size and language.

Reminders are worked out on your phone, from the history you type in, and shown inside the app. Anvil sends nothing to a server to produce them and needs no internet connection.

4. When anything leaves your phone

Only when you ask for it, and only to where you say. Three cases, all started by you:

• Export to PDF or CSV. The app builds the file and hands it to your system share sheet. Where it goes from there — a printer, an email, a folder, another app — is your choice, and from that point that app's privacy policy applies, not ours.
• Backup and restore. The backup is a single file that you save wherever you keep your files, and that you pick again to restore. It carries your vehicles, your history and your settings; the photos you attach stay on this phone and are not inside it. It is not uploaded anywhere.
• The purchase. Handled entirely by Apple or Google (below). This is also the only time Anvil uses the network at all: when it opens, it asks the store whether this device has already bought the unlock, and what the price is in your currency. It sends nothing about you, and every screen keeps working with no connection.

One thing Anvil does not control: your phone's own backup. If you have iCloud Backup or Android's Auto Backup switched on, your system may include this app's data in the copy it makes of your phone, and restore it when you set up a new one. That copy is made by Apple or Google under your account and their policy, not ours — we never see it. You can exclude it in your system settings.

5. Purchases

Anvil is free with one vehicle and every feature, including export and backup. A single one-time purchase adds unlimited vehicles. There is no subscription. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play, and Anvil never sees or stores your payment details: it only asks the store whether this device has bought the product, and caches that answer locally so the app works offline.

6. Children

Anvil is a maintenance logbook for vehicle owners. It shows no ads, has no social features and collects no data from anyone.

7. Data deletion

Everything Anvil stores lives on your device. Delete a vehicle and its whole history goes with it, at any time and with no waiting period; uninstalling the app erases the rest. We keep nothing anywhere else, so there is nothing to request from us: no servers, no copies. The one copy that can outlive the uninstall is your own system backup (section 4), and that one you delete from your iCloud or Google account. If you have any question about this, write to the contact address below and we will answer within 30 days.

8. About the maintenance intervals

The intervals the app suggests are common-practice starting points, not data from your manufacturer, and every one of them is editable. Anvil counts distance, engine hours and dates and tells you what is due; what your vehicle actually needs is for your handbook and your mechanic to say.

Ninguno. Anvil no recoge, transmite ni comparte ningún dato personal. No tiene cuentas, ni registro, ni correo, ni teléfono, ni SDK de analíticas, ni informes de errores, ni publicidad. No hay ningún servidor nuestro al que mandar nada.

3. Lo que se queda en tu dispositivo

• Tus vehículos. Lo que escribes de ellos: nombre, marca, modelo, año, matrícula, bastidor, la lectura del cuentakilómetros o del horómetro y tus notas. Todo es texto libre que escribes tú: la app no tiene base de datos de vehículos y no consulta nada.
• Tu histórico. Fechas, lecturas, qué se hizo, el taller, el coste y tus notas.
• Las fotos que adjuntas. Facturas y fotos del vehículo. Las eliges con el selector del propio sistema, que no exige que la app tenga acceso a tu galería, y la app copia a su almacenamiento solo las que elijas.
• Tus avisos y ajustes. Intervalos, unidades, formato de fecha, moneda, tamaño de letra e idioma.

Los avisos se calculan en tu teléfono, con el histórico que escribes tú, y se ven dentro de la app. Anvil no manda nada a ningún servidor para sacarlos y no necesita conexión.

4. Cuándo sale algo de tu teléfono

Solo cuando tú lo pides y solo a donde tú digas. Tres casos, y los tres los empiezas tú:

• Exportar a PDF o CSV. La app compone el fichero y se lo pasa a la hoja de compartir del sistema. A dónde vaya después —una impresora, un correo, una carpeta, otra app— lo eliges tú, y a partir de ahí se aplica la política de privacidad de esa app y no la nuestra.
• Copia y restauración. La copia es un único fichero que guardas donde guardes tus ficheros y que vuelves a elegir para restaurar. Lleva tus vehículos, tu histórico y tus ajustes; las fotos que adjuntas se quedan en este móvil y no van dentro. No se sube a ninguna parte.
• La compra. La gestionan íntegramente Apple o Google (abajo). Es también la única vez que Anvil usa la red: al abrirse le pregunta a la tienda si este dispositivo ya ha comprado el desbloqueo y cuál es el precio en tu moneda. No manda nada tuyo, y todas las pantallas siguen funcionando sin conexión.

Una cosa que Anvil no controla: la copia de seguridad de tu propio teléfono. Si tienes activada la copia de iCloud o la copia automática de Android, el sistema puede incluir los datos de esta app en la copia que hace de tu móvil y devolvértelos al configurar uno nuevo. Esa copia la hacen Apple o Google en tu cuenta y bajo su política, no la nuestra, y nosotros no la vemos nunca. Puedes excluirla en los ajustes del sistema.

5. Compras

Anvil es gratis con un vehículo y todas las funciones, exportación y copia incluidas. Una única compra añade vehículos ilimitados. No hay suscripción. El pago lo gestionan íntegramente el App Store o Google Play, y Anvil nunca ve ni guarda tus datos de pago: solo le pregunta a la tienda si este dispositivo ha comprado el producto, y guarda esa respuesta en local para que la app funcione sin conexión.

6. Menores

Anvil es un libro de mantenimiento para dueños de vehículos. No enseña anuncios, no tiene funciones sociales y no recoge datos de nadie.

7. Borrado de datos

Todo lo que Anvil guarda vive en tu dispositivo. Al borrar un vehículo se va con él todo su histórico, cuando quieras y sin ningún plazo de espera; al desinstalar la app se borra el resto. Nosotros no conservamos nada en ningún otro sitio, así que a nosotros no hay nada que solicitarnos: ni servidores ni copias. La única copia que puede sobrevivir a la desinstalación es la de tu propio sistema (apartado 4), y esa la borras desde tu cuenta de iCloud o de Google. Si tienes cualquier duda, escribe al contacto de abajo y contestamos en un máximo de 30 días.

8. Sobre los intervalos de mantenimiento

Los intervalos que propone la app son un punto de partida de uso común, no datos de tu fabricante, y todos se pueden editar. Anvil cuenta distancia, horas de motor y fechas y te dice qué toca; qué necesita de verdad tu vehículo lo dicen tu manual y tu taller.
